The CoreBoot is an EPDM rubber transition gasket designed to create a flexible and watertight connection between PVC and concrete pipe, chambers, and foundation walls.
Applications
CoreBoots are used throughout the civil construction and plumbing industries for:
- Sanitary and storm lateral connections
- Catch basin leads
- Cored manhole connections
- Pipe connections and penetrations to chambers and building foundation walls.
Design & Function
The CoreBoot seats and seals the PVC pipe within the wall of the concrete pipe, foundation, or chamber to prevent 'pipe shearing' and pull out during backfill and ground settlement.
Positive stops on the interior and exterior of the Coreboot prevent the PVC pipe and boot from pushing into the concrete pipe.
Easy Installation
No specialty tools required for installation - only a cored hole,1/2" socket, and 5/16" nut driver
